That I had no idea about yet! It's at the Attorney General's office, which is right up there with the State House. A woman who I am e-mailing mentioned the Public Inquiry Office...like taking phone calls and such..it's not something I'd like to do, but I think the experience and references will be worth it in the end. I will try to be honest but will take what I can get.

I am just looking for something to fill some time in my schedule. I feel I will not be as bored and will have more discipline regarding schoolwork among other things...so we'll see. If I don't get it, I will return to actual job hunting, but for now, I wait a week until tomorrow to see how it goes! :)

... there's a movie I just watched ahh.... "definitely, maybe" that's it. So your working your way up through the system to a real desk? :)

Understood. I have plans to work on a portfolio here shortly not just for school but possible job opportunities. I have a lot of skills that could be of use to businesses but I haven't really advertised myself or my skill set yet. I know I'm going to be picky about what I show because I've seen the competition's work... and well its fierce. I'd be happy to have a beginning job with a chance to grow, but we'll see. I don't think I'm the worst at what I've been studying for, but I think its important to really show what I am capable of in my work. :)

Haha nooo. I won't get a real desk this time...maybe in like 10 years haha.

Oh wow, looks like you've got quite a feat ahead of you! I wish you luck with that. I don't know how I'd be able to handle competitoin with artwork like that, but it takes a lot, so way to go. What kind of work are you featuring in your portfolio?

Ever see Dana Carvey impersonating George Bush and ordering a mooshu chicken? :)
I couldn't work anyplace political... I'd be pulling practical jokes to ease tensions.

I think that the work I feature in my portfolio will depend on where I want to get a job. Which I'm kind of researching places right now, and things look promising. I've seen the work they create and I'm capable of that quality of work.
I know I probably don't have enough experience yet to do anything but "grunt work" but I'll happily do the "grunt work" of that kind of job if it means a $2-4 pay raise as a start and experience with a good team of people. We'll see...
but that's what I'm hopefully building to. :)

Though I have secret growing passions for a few things now that I'm exploring... I don't know how they fit into the rest of my life... but they are really fun and exciting to me right now.

Definitely! Anything is good in such times like these... and whatever you find that your passion is, go with it. You never know where it will take you. :)
